Installing Simulation Server

The Simulation Server release is only compatible with the specific MPI release that contains the version matched library (dll) file. The appropriate MPI Library must be installed before installing Simulation Server. For more information about installing the MPI Library, see Installing the Motion Development Kit (MDK).

Perform the following procedure to install Simulation Server.

Note: It is required to install Simulation Server in the same directory as the MPI. This can be the default location or the location you specified during installation.

1. To install Simulation Server, click on the SIM_04.00.03_Setup.exe.

The Install Shield Wizard displays:

2. Click Next to begin the Simulation Server installation.

3. Review the Simulation Server license agreement and select I accept... to approve. Click Next to continue.

   

4. To select an installation folder, Click Next to accept the default location or click Browse to specify a different folder. Click Next to continue.

   

5. Click Install to begin the Simulation Server installation.

   

   The Setup Wizard installs the Simulation Server.

   

6. When the installation is complete, click Finish.
