The Home Object simplifies the process of including homing routines in an application.
The Home Object is a generic, state-based framework that is not tied to individual homing routines. Each homing routine is implemented on top of this framework, allowing the user to easily change which homing routines are used within an application by modifying only one or two lines of code. Since the source code for the homing object is included with the MPX, it is also possible for users to add their own homing routines to the Home Object.
If the homing routine you wish to use is not currently implemented, please contact Danaher Motion Technical Support. We intend to add more homing routines and are interested to know which routines are most useful to your application. |
