ZMP-SynqNet-PCI

(Discontinued, upgrade to QMP Series)

The ZMP-SynqNet-PCI is a high-performance 64-bit motion controller utilizing a 400MHz MPC8245 PowerPC processor for optimum speed and flexibility. The ZMP supports servo rates up to 48 kHz allowing high levels of coordination and synchronization between axes. An optional on-board cooling fan is available. A 466MHz version of the ZMP was previously available (PN: T115-0001), however this product is no longer in production. New designs should use the 400MHz ZMP board (PN: T115-0006), which has a minor 2-5% performance decrease compared to the 466MHz or upgrade to a QMP-Series controller for the ultimate in machine performance.

ZMP-SynqNet-PCI-LT

The ZMP-SynqNet-PCI-LT is a performance optimized ZMP controller making an ideal XMP-series replacement utilizing a CPU from the ZMP family. The ZMP-LT provides roughly a 2x performance increase over the XMP-series with a 64-bit 266MHz CPU (MPC8245 PowerPC). The ZMP-LT utilizes the same firmware as the standard ZMP. This increased processing power makes it an ideal upgrade from the XMP controller allowing increased speed, flexibility, and optimization with MechaWare. MPI verion 3.02.06 or later is required.
