TSIO-8001; Field Power Supply
Field Power Supply 10A (24Vdc)

- The module is the expansion power supply.
- Under normal operation, the TSIO-1002
CANopen Network Adapter supplies a basic field power supply of
10A. However, if your I/O setup requires a current greater than
10A, you will need to use the TSIO-8001 expansion power module
to ensure that there is sufficient current for all the slices.
See diagram below.
- Receives external 24V input, converts up to 5V/1A, and supplies new system power to attached slices.

Wiring Examples
If you are using a SLICE I/O setup that requires more
than 10A of field power, you will need to add a TSIO-8001 expansion power
module to ensure that enough power will be available to all the slices. Unlike the TSIO-8002, new system power (1.0A) is generated from the TSIO-8001 slice.
