Motor Dedicated Input Mechaware API Documentation > Input
OverviewOverviewDescription The Motor Dedicated Input block is used to read a single bit of data from the Dedicated Input memory. This memory contains state information for switches Home, HW Pos, HW Neg, Hardware Enable, etc. The block is updated at the update rate, determined by the Evaluate Block. Example
Matlab/SimulinkSimulink InterfaceThe Motor Number of the Motor Dedicated Input block specifies which Motor object will be used for input. The Bit Number defines which bit should be used for input. The block has two user data fields (User Data 0, User Data 1) to store application-specific data for convenient storage and retrieval. For more information, see User Data Storage. The block's update schedule is determined by the Evaluate Block. The following Parameter Dialog Box can be opened by double-clicking on the block in a Simulink model:

Description The Motor Dedicated Input block is a special case of the Bit Input block. Used as a convenient way of targeting the motor’s input bits, abstracting the need for a source address and data type. See Overview for more information. Parameters
