SQID Type C Connector
Mating Connector: Type R
The main connector site located at J400 is usually populated by a 96-way, right-angle, DIN41612, Type C connector with rows labelled A-C.
Hardware Option
It is also possible to fit a 128-way variant of this Type C connector that has an extra row, labelled D. (ex: Hirose PCN10-128P-2.54DS)

The FPGA’s 89 uncommitted I/O pins are taken directly to this connector with no intervening buffering or signal conditioning. The signal levels are 3.3V LVTTL. The FPGA will not tolerate direct connection to 5V signals.
Signal FP84 goes to FPGA pin 84, Signal SFP86 goes to FPGA pin 86 etc. For SQIO applications, the functionality of these pins have defined functions.
For other applications where the SQID is forming the core of an RMB by mating to a companion board, the pins have their functions defined by the runtime FPGA image.
If the Type C connector is mated with a Type R connector, the pin order on that connector is reversed as shown.
