S200 Tools: Selecting a Node

When using an S200 Series Drive that supports SynqNet, you can use the Node Selection tool at the top right of the screen to quickly select the appropriate node on the network. SynqNet supports up to 4 Controllers and up to 32 SynqNet Nodes.

The S200 Tools software can ONLY communicate with one S200 drive at a time over the SynqNet interface. Only one SynqNet node will be displayed at a time.

To display more than one SynqNet drive, open multiple S200 Tools windows. Simply open an S200Tools program for each SynqNet drive on the network and select the approriate drive from the pulldown menu or in the communications wizard.

WARNING: Multiple S200 Tools instances can access the same drive, at the same time, in a SynqNet environment. Use caution when viewing multiple SynqNet drives.
