Drive FPGA Images

Some SynqNet nodes have a high speed serial or parallel memory interface to an integrated drive processor. The FPGA binary images for SynqNet nodes with integrated drives (ex: Node 1 in diagram below), have the same functionality as other SynqNet nodes (Node 0). Please see the Node Binary Images section for information about the Node FPGA binary boot and runtime images.

SynqNet nodes with drives will need binary code for the drive processor(s). Some node manufacturers will install the drive firmware at the factory. Other node manufacturers may require customers to download the drive firmware images. For hardware that supports downloading of firmware, the drive firmware can be downloaded with Motion Console, the sqNodeFlash.exe utility, or application code.
