The sqCableQuality utility is used to test SynqNet network cables for integrity at installtion time. Cables can be exercised with a specified packet load and statistical data is collected to determine the cables performance.

Usage

At the command line, type one of the following options:
         ex: C:\MEI\04.00.00\win32>sqCableQuality.exe -?

-? Help
-control # Controller number (default = 0)
-server # Name of the host running server.exe
-port # TCP/IP port on the host computer
-trace # Bit mask to specify trace information outputs
-loop# 0 = run once (default), 1 = run continuous
-packets# Number of test packets to send (default = 100)
-echoTime# 0 = No timer display (default), 1 = display echo timer values

Examples

C:\MEI\04.00.00\win32>sqCableQuality.exe -loop 0

cable 0:[ Controller [OUT] <=> Node 0 ] status: Good
cable 1:[ Controller [IN] <=> Node 0 ] status: Good

C:\MEI\04.00.00\win32>sqCableQuality.exe -loop 0 -packets 500

cable 0:[ Controller [OUT] <=> Node 0 ] status: Good
cable 1:[ Controller [IN] <=> Node 0 ] status: Good

C:\MEI\04.00.00\win32>sqCableQuality.exe -loop 0 -packets 500 -echotime 1

cable 0:[ Controller [OUT] <=> Node 0 ] status: Good

Test Echo Timer: Nominal = 0x43
Test Echo Timer: Minimum = 0x43
Test Echo Timer: Maximum = 0x44
cable 1:[ Controller [IN] <=> Node 0 ] status: Good

Test Echo Timer: Nominal = 0x3f
Test Echo Timer: Minimum = 0x3f
Test Echo Timer: Maximum = 0x40
