Message Utility

The Message Utility will translate MPI message codes into text. This is useful in case an application only reports an error code and not the associated message.

NOTE: Error code values and their corresponding description may change from one software release version to the next.

Usage

At the command line, type one of the following options:
ex: C:\mei\XMP\bin\>message.exe

message [ msg# ]

Where

message.exe	Creates a complete list of return values (messages).
message #	Gives the return value of the specified message number. (ex: C:\mei\xmp\bin\winnt\message 1559)
