MEI offers a set of personalized training courses designed to help customers become familiar with MEI products and software.
Currently, MEI offers the following training courses:
On-site Training – You Come to Us
Courses are taught at MEI facilities. Class pricing is per person. Discounts available for groups of four or more.
Off-site Training – We Come to You
If you prefer to have our training team come to you, the training team will teach the training courses at your facilities. Pricing is per person. Minimum of 3 participants is required for an off-site class. Travel costs for trainers will be charged at actual cost plus 10%.

MPI Basics
The MPI is our C library that is used to program the XMP/ZMP motion controllers. This class will show you the basics of the MPI including:

- General MPI organization / conventions
- Object Hierarchy
- MPI Syntax
- Several sample applications
- How to perform simple motion
- How to read and write to I/O
|
At the end of this class you will be able to compile and write simple MPI programs. This class requires basic C programming ability. Please bring a laptop computer with Microsoft Visual C 6.0 or later installed for hands-on exercises.

The MPX is our ActiveX library that is used to program the XMP/ZMP motion controllers. This class will show you the basics of the MPX including:

Advanced Servo Tuning
This class covers the frequency response method of tuning covering:

- Getting system data from field service personnel for analysis in the office
- PID tuning with frequency response
